By consolidating infrastructure management operations through Shared Service Centers (SSCs), Marlabs reduces costs, raises efficiency and responsiveness, and increases elasticity to handle future changes. Much of the savings comes from simplifying and standardizing processes, based on ITIL, across infrastructure support areas.
Making use of best practice templates and integrated workflows, a cross-functional services framework realizes process standardization. Establishing governance principles helps us continually measure and improve the effectiveness of processes to gain operational efficiency.

A detailed service catalog is segmented into multi-level, infrastructure management tasks: L1, L2, and L3. IT resources are grouped into pools of assets that are shared across infrastructure management areas.
L1 tasks are mapped to horizontal areas (such as Server Management and Network Management) and executed as per SOP’s defined in a run book for each task, thus leveraging synergies across the horizontal area. At the L2 and L3 levels, tasks typically fall into narrower buckets and require more specialized expertise. Through Centers of Excellence, we continually augment the knowledge that underpins shared services delivery so that you are always assured of access to the critical skills that help you maximize performance of your key IT assets.
The result is a world class, scalable shared services delivery model that is closely aligned with your business needs.
