Seasoned Sales and Marketing Executive Ron Martyn Joins Marlabs as Executive Vice President

EDISON, N.J. (March 7, 2005) – Marlabs, a global full service provider of application development, managed and consulting services, today announced that Ron Martyn has accepted the position of Executive Vice President, Solutions Group with the company. Martyn, who has years of sales, marketing and business development experience, will be responsible for managing Marlabs’ sales and business development efforts.

Martyn has consistently increased sales revenue in complex environments that have long sales cycles. Adept at opening new markets and growing established accounts through consultative sales management, he was responsible for managing AT&T’s largest commercial account and established a sales funnel of over $600 million on a previously disappointing product line as a division manager for AT&T. Most recently, Martyn led Post Sales for AT&T at Alcatel USA where he developed and expanded key accounts that generated more than $20 million in sales. Martyn was also vice president of Marketing at AEG where he developed a business plan that integrated 15 product lines into five primary business lines, and the model was adopted by AEG on a worldwide basis.

While at AT&T, Martyn participated in the company’s prestigious Executive M.B.A. program at Pace University’s Lubin School of Business. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Boston College and is located in Marlabs’ Edison, N.J. headquarters.
