  Maximize return
      on your (AMI) investment.
...Take control of its valuable data assets

On one hand, there are the ‘physical’ assets that comprise an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system such as the smart meters, communication systems, controllers, Meter Data Management (MDM) software and so on. Equally valuable, if not more so, are the huge volumes of data assets that the AMI will generate.

  MEETING AGENDA

- Understanding AMI data

- Implications of the
  huge rise in data   volumes

- Challenges inherent in   analyzing massive data   volumes

- Benefits to be realized   from analyzing AMI data

- The Marlabs data   analytics approach

- Marlabs GridInsightTM   analytics platform

- Real-life case studies

- Q&A

Given 60-minute, 30-minute, 15-minute, or even 5-minute interval meter reads, billions of meter reads in a year are a reality. Are you looking to unlock value from this AMI-driven data surge?

Moreover, AMI data is a distinct and complex asset that is associated not just with meter to cash processes but also with operational, engineering, and financial areas within the utility.

Information gleaned from this data can be used to transform utility processes for the benefit of both customers and utilities.

The GridInsightTM platform from Marlabs will help you turn this mass of AMI data into useful information and actionable intelligence.

By tracking systems on a near real-time basis, the system closes the loop on management processes:

  • Optimization of energy consumption and energy efficiency along with accurate environmental reporting.

  • Predictive analysis of utility load data and transformer load by transformer rating and time.

  • Trend monitoring of energy usage patterns, energy and demand costs, and operational risks.

  • Forecasting energy demand through statistical modeling techniques applied to historical data.

  • Tracking power delivery performance and reliability measures in order to uncover opportunities for improving outage response processes.

Solution components include:

  • High performance data warehouses for storing interval data for number crunching and presentation.

  • Interactive self-service portals that provide online access to dynamically updated data.

  • Flexible dashboards that present accurate intelligence to identify peaks and troughs and spot trends.

  • Information-rich graphs, charts, tables, and files along with advanced query features for detailed insight.

Join us and learn more about how you can leverage your AMI data to gain enhanced visibility into operations and raise customer satisfaction.
