Marlabs works with our customers in successfully harnessing .NET technology. To this end, we have set up a dedicated .NET Center of Excellence (CoE).

The .NET CoE conducts ongoing research on the platform which includes the following activities:

• Tracking .NET technology to understand the new features that are being built into the platform.
• Assimilating these innovations into our knowledge base so that we can share our insight with you and support you when you need to make informed decisions.
• Incorporating these features in our methodology to provide the most efficient and effective IT solutions to our customers.

Our .NET research is focused on developing standards, prescriptive architectures, and reusable application frameworks. The .NET CoE also serves as a community for our technical staff to exchange and brainstorm ideas, explore new tools and technologies, publish white papers, exchange knowledge in the form of discussion forums and so on.

1-888-Ohiocomp is a Managed Care Organization (MCO) managing workman’s compensation for employers across the state of Ohio. Ohiocomp needed to upgrade their existing claims management application from a legacy AS400-based system to a user-friendly web-based solution. Marlabs selected the Microsoft .NET framework as the development environment. The solution was implemented as a pure .NET application using C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2000, Windows Services, Web Services, Windows 2000 and deployed on IIS 5.0. Meridian Securities

Meridian Securities
Meridian Securities Online enables its clients to view, research and download over 25 years of international stock market information from over 45 stock exchanges, covering 850 industry sectors and 800 stock indices. Marlabs is currently hosting and managing the application 24x7. We enhanced the site with a customized shopping cart and an integrated payment gateway. Web-based administration of the site was also been provided so that an administrator could view transactions online. The application was initially developed using ASP and was then migrated to .NET, to provide web service components that could be consumed by potential resellers.

Pace Enterprises
Pace Enterprises is a leading manufacturer of specialty jewelry and accessories with sourcing centers across the world and a nation-wide distribution network. Pace required a web-based solution that allowed their extended sales force, customers, suppliers and retailers to track inventory, sales information, work in progress and goods in transit. Marlabs designed and developed the application using the .NET framework. The solution also enabled the sales team to log in using a PDA and synchronize inventory and sales data from the ERP system.
