Job Description :
Client is looking for an enthusiastic, self motivated, fast paced SOA Suite Senior Developer for a contract position to work in a dynamic team that has started a new project with high visibility. The Data Hub project will bring our business partners together leveraging Oracle’s SOA Suite 11g. The ideal candidate must have in-depth experience with the Oracle SOA Suite (preferably on the newer 11g platform). Knowledge of Java J2EE and ADF application development background would be a plus.
This position will collaborate proactively with functional users and analysts to translate business and integration requirements into configurable component designs and solutions. The ideal candidate will reflect a mix of strong technical proficiency, application maintenance ownership, and the ability to work effectively with other business and technology personnel and internal customers to provide very responsive support to this global application..
Design, Implement and Test Oracle ADF applications using JDeveloper 11g
Develop enterprise web-based transactional applications on the J2EE platform using Oracle JDeveloper/ADF
Responsible for coding and unit testing application software across production support, enhancements and projects
Complete coding and unit testing activities on-schedule and per quality expectations
On an individual basis, meet service level agreements for production support response and resolution
Follow the standard development processes
Driven to keep cutting edge technology skills current through training and development
Design and develop technical solutions to a pre-defined requirement and develop components including extensions, views, customizations, modifications, reports, workflow, etc. around Oracle Application. Code and Unit test independently or as a part of a team
Enhance performance in the Oracle Application environment. Tuning code, reviewing table and applying indexes were needed.
Follow documentation, version control and testing, and migration standards
Strong understanding of the lifecycle of technical development from technical design, unit testing to user testing, to production migration. Emphasize adherence to standards and controls, and conduct quality assurance over programs before migration to production
Develop a cooperative environment that fosters knowledge sharing
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to others in areas of expertise
Job Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree (BS, BA, etc.) in Engineering or Computer Science
3-5 years of relevant work experience with the Oracle Fusion middleware products, specifically the SOA Suite 10g/11g including the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), BPEL Process Manager, Business Activity Monitoring, and JDeveloper IDE.
3-5 years of experience using Oracle’s SOA Suite to develop transformers and transporters for external third party (Customers and Suppliers) integration leveraging XML and FTP (all flavors including SFTP and FTPS) is strongly preferred.
3-5 years of Java/J2EE and ADF (Oracle’s Application Development Framework) development experience is a plus.
BEA WebLogic J2EE Application server platform experience is preferred.
Experience with version control systems, preferably CVS
Knowledge of Functional or Automated Testing methods/tools like JUnit and JMeter
Knowledge of the Oracle database and its main programming languages SQL and PL/SQL
Adept in providing quality assurance checkpoints related to tiered development including object design, model design, and Java, JSP and SQL code reviews prior to solution release.
