| SR. SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER/ARCHITECT |

Sr. SharePoint Developer/Architect
Duration - Full-Time
LOcation - Richmond ,VA
Duties: The Individual in this role is responsible for developing SharePoint components including but not limited to web parts, lists, web pages, workflow, infopath forms as well as involved in creating technical specifications to include, but not limited to Prototypes, Proof Of concepts, Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams etc. The candidate may be involved in gathering user requirements for various projects.
* Design and development of SharePoint web parts and applications
* Must be able to understand and develop design artifacts using UML with Visio, Rational Rose and other tools
* Participate in SharePoint architecture, development, deployment, and administration issues
* Follow up on issues in an efficient manner, including working hand in hand with technical and functional teams
* Regularly communicate progress, issues, and risks to project lead/manager.
Skills: * 6+ years in Software Development preferably in large scale enterprise projects.
* Experience developing secure web-based systems and portals.
* At least 2 year of hands-on experience with MOSS 2007 and 2+ years of experience with SPS 2003.
* Solid grasp of MOSS Search concepts including custom scope and multi-source indexing
* Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 SDK
* Demonstrated experience designing and developing web pages and web parts, master pages and layout pages. WSRP experience a plus.
* Good understanding of SharePoint lists, libraries, workflows, and content/records management capabilities. Experience with Excel Services and/or Business Data Catalog preferred.
* Strong working knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, Web Services, and ASP.NET. Working knowledge with Web Service Extensions (WSE) and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) preferred.
* Experience with Visual Studio 2005 and .Net Framework 3.0 required, Experience with .Net Framework 3.5, Visual Studio 2008, Silverlight is preferred.
